I have seen on videos? a 100 rounds bet after its fired the 50th round it seperates and fall out of the gun? 2 halves , like a RPD belt but ive never seen how they attatch, can anyone help me out on how they connect. I hope my? question makes sense??

These came with SOME of the PKM's in the 50 round can.? They link alot like the 1919 links do.? If you look at the picture here:https://www.robertrtg.com/store/pc/PKM-25RD-BELT-p7746.htm ? You can see the small loop at the end.
