  1. I have my cone muzzle break thingy that came with my gun and it treads on perfect. My question is I have spares that will be going on my new barrels? but I noticed when screwing on the? surplus cones on my barrel that they only screw down? about 3/4 the way then get to hard to turn. Do i need to chase the threads on the surplus cones? and if so what is the thread pitch??

It's not SAE or metric, it's a special Russian size.? If you will use a good tight crescent wrench on the flash cone and put a little oil on the threads, you should be able to screw it on the rest of the way and then it will come on and off easier after this first time.
