Bren Variants Build Services

After a long hiatus from our offerings, we are happy to say that we are offering to build the Bren gun variants again.  We are going to offer a number of options and a few of them are based on the type of cuts that your receiver have.  At the moment, we do not have any caliber restrictions so we will attempt to build whatever you have if we can get ammunition for it.  The for sure calibers are: .303 British, .308 Winchester, 30-06, & 7.62x39.  If we start running into issues, we'll let you know. A single build can take a week and a half for one Bren so as these come in, the completion date gets pushed back for each new build.  If you're worried about how long it will take, please contact us before purchasing to get a better understanding of the time frame involved.  At times, we may have complete guns for sale, and if that is the case, you may be given the option to receive that gun in place of your kit. 

PLEASE READ AND BE ABSOLUTELY SURE OF THE OPTION YOU NEED BEFORE MAKING YOUR PURCHASE. Also please understand that once you make a purchase, it will be 3 to 5 months before your rifle is completed after you have sent us the kit.

Option 1) "Good cut" receiver(see photos) with good live barrel & new made by SMG walnut pistol grip:

Your "good cut" receiver will be reconstructed in semi-auto only configuration, all of the original parts will be modified as necessary for proper fit and function.  The rifle will be hot blued, test fired and shipped in a plastic gun case. For 922(r) compliance parts count, a new US made walnut pistol grip will be stained, sealed and installed on your rifle.

Option 2) "Bad cut" receiver(see photos) with good live barrel & new made by SMG walnut pistol grip:

Your "bad cut" receiver will be reconstructed in semi-auto only configuration, all of the original parts will be modified as necessary for proper fit and function.  The rifle will be hot blued, test fired and shipped in a plastic gun case. For 922(r) compliance parts count, a new US made walnut pistol grip will be stained, sealed and installed on your rifle.

Using one of the kits we have on hand, one of our MkI receivers will be reconstructed in semi-auto only configuration, all of the original parts will be modified as necessary for proper fit and function.  The rifle will be hot blued, test fired and shipped in a plastic gun case. For 922(r) compliance parts count, a new US made walnut pistol grip will be stained, sealed and installed on your rifle.  Comes with one 30 round magazine.

Using one of the kits we have on hand, one of our MkI receivers will be reconstructed in semi-auto only configuration, all of the original parts will be modified as necessary for proper fit and function.  The rifle will be hot blued, test fired and shipped in a plastic gun case. For 922(r) compliance parts count, a new US made laminate pistol grip will be stained, sealed and installed on your rifle.  Comes with one 30 round magazine.

Option 7) Bren MkIII(3) made from one of SMG's kits, with a new made by SMG walnut pistol grip(no donor kit required from customer):

Using one of the kits we have on hand, one of our MkIII receivers will be reconstructed in semi-auto only configuration, all of the original parts will be modified as necessary for proper fit and function.  These rifles will have the correct shorter barrel.  The rifle will be hot blued, test fired and shipped in a plastic gun case. For 922(r) compliance parts count, a new US made walnut pistol grip will be stained, sealed and installed on your rifle.  Comes with one 30 round magazine.

Option 8) Bren MkIII(3) made from one of SMG's kits, with a new made by SMG laminate pistol grip(no donor kit required from customer):

Using one of the kits we have on hand, one of our MkIII receivers will be reconstructed in semi-auto only configuration, all of the original parts will be modified as necessary for proper fit and function.  These rifles will have the correct shorter barrel.  The rifle will be hot blued, test fired and shipped in a plastic gun case. For 922(r) compliance parts count, a new US made laminate pistol grip will be stained, sealed and installed on your rifle.  Comes with one 30 round magazine.
