Wood furniture: The legacy option is a walnut foregrip and laminate buttstock as this was what the vast majority of the originals had from the factory. The all walnut, is what it says. A walnut foregrip and buttstock. about 5% of the originals were built this way from what we can tell. The all maple, is both foregrip and buttstock out of hard maple. We started offering this option because the walnut naturally flakes a bit during machining on the foregrip grooves along the grain structure. The originals did this too. We noticed that the maple does it a lot less than the walnut, so we offer this to anyone who would rather have more perfect grooves. The maple will not look identical to the walnut when stained and finished but we get as close as we can.
Firearm finish: All finishes start with the hot bluing process. Then we can have the parts left blued only, ceracoted, or black lacquer painted. The company that does these finishes for us, properly prepares the parts for the desired finish. The "legacy" on the black lacquer paint, indicates that this is how the original guns were typically finished from the factory.
Grip color: The pistol grips were molded off of a set of original grips and we have black and brown for the options.
